Craignish Boat Club is based on the Craignish peninsula, Argyll, Scotland. This is an area of the spectacular natural beauty, where otters and seals are common close inshore, and whales, porpoises and dolphins are often seen further out. Sailing is one of the main reasons for living here! Until very recently the club site was located in Loch Craignish lagoon by Ardfern. The lease for this site came to end in March 2010 and the committee is currently investigating options for a new permanent home.
The Club owns several dinghies, including Optimists, Toppers, Picos, a Laser and a Wayfarer, plus canoes and 2 rescue boats. There are currently an RYA Coach, Senior Instructor and several dinghy instructors, we also have one canoe instructor and a number of qualified rescue boat operators in the Club. We have a fleet of privately-owned Lasers and Flying Fifteens, plus cruisers, many of which are moored in the lagoon.
